Enjoying a tranquil position on the banks of the River Eden, Blandswath Cottage is spacious, comfortably furnished and is maintained to a very high standard.
Situated within 100 acres of the owner’s land, around which visitors are free to roam, it is fronted by a garden with slide and sandpit.
An excellent base for walking the Eden Valley, the Pennine Hills and the beautiful Howgill Fells, it is also central for the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales.
Free fishing for one on the nearby River Eden is available in season with riding and a golf course close by. The cottage can sleep up to 6 people plus a cot.

Lying between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks the Eden Valley offers uncrowded space amidst beautiful rolling countryside.
Anglers fishing the River Eden can walk from the cottage to the banks in just a few minutes. In addition to the single ticket available to guests additional day fishing permits are available from the local Angling Club.
Rambling, cycling, bird watching, golf and fishing are just a few of the outdoor activities available to guests.
NearbyBlandswath Cottage is situated adjacent to a farm. It is totally surrounded by farmland and rolling countryside and is a place to unwind. Guests have every chance of enjoying a relaxing and peaceful stay.
There are many walks in the immediate vicinity of the cottage. There is little need to drive. The nearby footpaths take in river, woodland and fell scenery.
Kirkby Stephen, just two miles away, has everyday shops and dining facilities.
Just a few miles south, along a scenic route, is the old town of Sedbergh with its narrow cobbled streets.
